The Park is situated close to the picturesque village of Robin Hoods Bay, 7 miles from the fishing port of Whitby and 11 miles from the livelier resort of Scarborough, approximately 15 minutes by car.

Located off the A171 (Whitby to Scarborough road) and just 50 miles from York we have good road access to all the major attractions in The North Yorkshire National Park. With a regular bus service outside our door going to Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby and Scarborough, or bring your bikes and use the disused railway that joins them close by.

For driving directions try out the AA web site, type in YO22 4QH as your destination but when you are driving along the A171 stay on it! we are after the turn off for Robin Hoods Bay on the A171 if traveling from Whitby, or before the turn off if traveling from Scarborough.
